IMS to realize data, voice, IPTV, video, games and Internet integration under the IP network has become a trend in communications development. IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)is a subsystem proposed by 3GPP to support IP multimedia service. It provides a general service platform for future multimedia application and becomes one critical step forward to all IP network service providing system. IMS core network enables service providers to provide an integrated service full of personality and rich content to the fixed and mobile network users in discretionary access mode and terminal at any place and any time. TISPAN(Telecommunications and Internet Services and Protocols for Advanced Networking)complements and extends IMS from the perspective of fixed network.
